Just a few words to put the record straight and all the rumours at the same time. Firstly, for all the people that seem far too concerned with everyone else’s business, “mainly mine”! here we go:-
Charlie’s Lake is MY lake and I will run it how I want when I want. I make the rules to make it a better place to fish for the majority of anglers, but you always get the odd few that upset the apple-cart.
For instance:- I banned live baiting for a reason, this being the angler in mind was told on more than one occasion not to use live baits of a large or specimen size. In one ear and out the other!! So when I heard I could ’f**k myself because im using it anyway’ after the second time of telling this angler I decided it was time to ban using live fish for bait. This angler and his friend no longer fish here and are not welcome to anymore. They also have no regard for myself, my property, the lake, the fish and for any of the other anglers who fish for catfish on my lake! So all you catfish anglers can say a big thank you to those two for that!
Another thing I have to say is about my bailiff Steve. I would trust this man with my life, and the email that I received recently about him would lead me to think along the lines of SLANDER and DEFERMATION OF CHARACTER. So the person who sent that email should think long and hard about his thoughts and actions, as a law suit can end up a very expensive turn out for him, as I have unlimited access and funds for just that purpose.
It is hard enough as it is without all this to deal with and it is becoming a pain in the a**e, no one has any respect for anyone else’s property or virtues. So this is where it STOPS!!!
If anyone has any questions or hears any RUMOURS and need to know it straight, all you have to do is pick up the phone or better still come and see me. I will be pleased to tell you what I know and put the record straight!!!

At this moment in time, I am in two minds as to whether or not to post this email onto the website for everyone to read, as I know for a fact the third party that is being impersonated will be over the moon and jumping for joy when he reads it, but not having spoken to my solicitor yet I think I should hold back just for now until I do. Slander is a very serious matter and unless you have the balls to come and see me in court I would be very careful and keep your mouth shut and keep your thoughts to yourselves from now on!!

The cats are Back!
Over the last two weekends the big cats have made an impact on anglers with cats of 56, 54, 61 and 49 being landed. We hope to place the pictures of these cats when the captures send them to us.
Thefirst photos of the 61lb catfish have arrived!
The Catfish was caught on 15/08/2009 by Chris Alexandrou and was weighed by our baliff Steve!
This weekend 06/09/2009 we received this email!
Had a brilliant catch the other week, which i reported to the bailiff, who also wanted some pictures which i've attached.
